The client is one of the largest discount chain stores based out of Europe with a global presence. Its stores offer a wide range of food and non food items with their shelves stocking an average of over 80,000 products.
The Requirement
The supermarket wanted to maximize profits by optimizing the space allocation of the merchandise displayed within the limited store space. To implement this new process at the store level, a store manager training program was designed and to automate the training process, it was required to prepare an audio visual Multimedia CD presentation. The language of the CD is Italian and the customer provided necessary texts and images.
The Solution
To make the CBT interesting, a video game look and feel console was developed with easy navigable buttons. The presentation was divided into 6 sections. The technologies used were Flash, XML, ASP, DREAMWEAVER, MS Access, Adobe Photoshop, ILLUSTRATOR, and Elastic Reality.
